Yes, it is true! We are already adding to the family. Oliver, Kelly and I are so excited to add to our happy family. I'm sure Tucker in his own way may be excited, on the other hand, he could be upset because then I will really ignore him. Oh well the kids will be his best friend when they get a little older.
I am due the beginning of November so we have just recently started this new journey. We will be finding out the sex at the end of May and I will definitely let everyone know! I will try and post some pictures of my growing belly, that has not begun to grow yet.... we will see when baby decides to show considering I never had a belly with Oliver until around 6.5-7 months along. Who knew he would be a 9lb baby!!

The first Zoo trip!
He was very excited to go to the Zoo, we had such wonderful weather so Oli had to bring his sunglasses.
Posing for mom!
Oli and Daddy checking out the sea lions. Oliver kept banging his hands on the glass, oops!
He did not want to be in the stroller, when he can walk but I was paranoid and left him in the stroller. Just being a mom!
Trying to pose for Dad but Oliver was clearly pre-occupied with the ground :)
He really was excited to see all the big animals and pointed at all of them and said "baby".
One of our last stops before Oliver had a melt down becuase he was so tired, it was 2 hours passed his nap time and he could no longer stand anything! Oh well we got in two solid hours of the animals at The Oregon Zoo.Oliver is the busiest little guy, does not stop EVER~~ Now that he is a pro-walker he is discovering all the fun things he can reach at and drag around the house. We are having so much fun watching him grow and learn.

Oli's first haircut!!!!
We finally got around to cutting Oliver's hair, it was getting was too long! I don't think we got enough cut off but I was really nervous it would be too short so I think we will be heading back to another salon for our man to get his hair trimmed once again.
Our little boy is just growing and growing. He now walks everywhere and points at anything he spots. We are having so much fun with the little guy. Oliver is one busy, busy boy!!!
I added a few pictures.

Oliver is 1!!!
So I am a little late announcing Oliver's 1st birthday! He had a huge pizza party at Bortolami's Pizzaria and had no idea, not a single clue, what was going on. I would have loved to post the classic "cake all over the face" photo but.....he would not touch the cake. It was a great big pirate cake that he had no interest in. Oh well. Here are a few pictures of the big day!!

A beach trip which inlcudes "Oliver's first steps!!"
The family went on another beach trip. Kelly was signed up to play in a golf tournament at Gearhart, Or. The weather turned out to be very nice for us. Oliver had a few firsts this weekend and one was sooooo exciting for Kelly and I!
We went to the Seaside aquarium and Oli got to feed the seals and check out a huge octopus. He also touched a sea cucumber, a sand dollar and grabbed a clam and threw it on the ground. Poor little clam! On Sunday Oliver took his first steps, which was surprisingly very, very exciting. I think I even wanted to start crying, for two reasons, he is growing up so fast and secondly more work for all of us!!!!
Here are a few pictures of our main man...

All about Oliver.....
My O man with his new Uggs
Oli and all his Christmas presents
Oliver's Christmas outiftSo Kelly and I have just expeinced, for the first time ever, Christmas with a little one. We had sooo much fun getting ready for Christmas and buying him his presents. Our little guy made out like a bandit! Although he was really not into opening any presents, at the end of the day he was so exhausted from all the excitement.
Kelly and I bought Oliver some Guess jeans and Uggs for Christmas. His grandparents bought him everything; he is very blessed to have such a great big loving family. Oliver got a 4 x4 powerized jeep, a radio flyer rocking horse, Elmo live, Elmo kitchen, an ABC walking train, stuffed animals, piggy bank, loud cars that make lots of noise, books, DVDs......everything. I know he had so much fun and is so grateful for everyone giving him the best Christmas ever!
We can't wait for next year.

My baby's first Christmas tree
This weekend we took the train ride in Amboy, WA to see Santa and pick out Oli's first Christmas tree. It was so sunny that day but still super cold. My mom and Rob came with us on the adventure...which turned out to be quite the adventure. Oliver slept through most of the train ride and when we finally got to pick out the tree and meet Santa he was a happy little camper. Although I never let him sit on Santa's lap we got to wave at him through the window of the train ( this Santa was a little off, can't describe ).
Kelly and I finally agreed on "the tree" and we picked it out and headed back for the train. After the train ride Kelly and Rob allegedy, securely tied the tree to our car. We headed home and even though Kelly will not admit it we were lost. He told me he was taking the "scenic route" HAHAHA!! We all know the scenic route don't we. By the time we found Battle Ground we were thankful the tree was still on top of the car. Well what do you know....once we hit the freeway, you guessed it, the tree slid off the top of the car. I ended up holding on to the rope inside the car while Kelly drove with the hazard lights on, going 15mph on the freeway. Anyway we had a blast, Oliver will not remember but it will be a great story to tell our little man a few years from now.
Here are a few pics from our trip.

First words....
We all know Oliver is a mama's boy but...his first word was dada. He would sit in his crib at night and just say dada over and over, it was just too cute. He also is saying baba but finally the word I have been waiting to hear, mama!!! I worked all weekend with him and said mama about a thousand times and he finally said it. MAMA.... what every mom loves to hear.
As well as talking he is now in his highchair eating everything he can get his hands on. Thought I would share a couple of cute pictures from this weekend.

9-Month well baby check up
Okay so I was wrong!!! Oliver feels soooo heavy in my arms I really thought that he weighed about 24-25lbs., but I was wrong... Kelly and I went to Oliver's 9 Month check up and he is very long and lean just like his dad. Oliver weighed in at 21.5lbs and 29.5in, he is in the 70th precentile for weight and 90th for height. We have are very, very happy and healthy baby. I can't wait for another.
I can't believe he will be 1 Year old in 3 months. I still remember clearly the morning Kelly and I were driving to the hospital getting ready to meet our little angel!!!!

Oliver and his buddies
Oliver is now 9 months old and crawling everywhere and using any piece of furniture he can find to cruise around the house. He now has his top 4 teeth and bottom 2. We had to upgrade to the big boy car seat now that he is about 24lbs. My huge little love bug is now sleeping in his own room for about 12 hours a night, woohoo!! Kelly and I finally have some relaxtion time at night.
A few weeks ago Oliver, Abbie and Tanner all had their first photo shoot together down at Esther Short Park. They were all so cute together. Stephanie, Ericka and I dressed them in their Halloween customes and a cute fall outfit. Thought I would share how cute Oliver and his friends are!!!
